Terminator Franchise returns on its 4th movie Terminator Salvation which stars Christian Bale as the future leader of human Resistance John Connor.

This continues the war between man and machines and this time it drops the formula of time traveling. It focuses on the actual years after Judgment Day happened.

If you are familiar with the Terminator franchise, then you wouldn’t feel like lost between the storylines. The story was effective in my opinion. SkyNet is really smart to changed its strategy and adapt human behavior instead of pure physicality assault. What SkyNet was unable to see was Marcus Wright. He might be a machine but with a heart and turned against SkyNet. The post apocalyptic setting and effects were great. Kudos to Christian Bale for delivering a bad ass Connor. I felt like this is a reboot from the franchise but I completely understand that time traveling and the fear of being hunted is over. I was thrilled before with those Terminators especially in T2 and T3. They seem to be unstoppable and tough as hell. Now they don’t look scary at all, they are just like pawns that can be stop.

Overall, I wouldn’t say I’m impressed but it was still a good movie. I expect more but anyway it still delivered entertainment. In my opinion T2 is still the best among the franchise. This is a pure, action packed war against machines.

Expect for future sequels.
