I just came home from the premiere of this much anticipated sequel of Twilight entitled New Moon. We stood up in line for more than an hour just to get inside the theater and all tickets were sold out. I am not a fan of the series but the first one was good enough I think. What really made me want to see this movie is the too much hype and sold out tickets even days prior to the films premiere. If you’re a non book fan like me, would you still enjoy?

First of all, I mean no disrespect to the loyal fans of the series. So I have to warn you again that this review is not from a book fan. The movie started where the first movie left off. Edward and Bella were happy together, everything went fine until a little incident happened which I really think Edward overreacted and decided to take the cowardly path by turning his back on Bella. It made Bella a lifeless breathing human with random shouting in the middle of the night until she get closer to her friend Jacob. Bella tried to find comfort with Jacob but she knows she’s only using him. At some point Bella assumed she could see Edward every time she gets closer to danger which includes riding behind a stranger’s motorbike, watching an action movie, driving a motorbike blazing fast, stumble then apologize for hitting her head and finally jumping off the cliff. Because of misunderstanding and due to the fact that Edward was the one who decided to leave in the first place, he was misinformed that Bella is dead so he also wants to kill himself too.

My point of a little summary? Everything was non sense. The conflict was mediocre. It was already an hour and all I can see and hear are the over the top cheesy dialogs, Bella doing crazy stuffs,  a guy who vomits from watching an action movie and a bunch of topless guys. Bella was heartbroken, I get it but she beats herself too much for it. It got worst with the dream screaming scene. The acting was not that good and a plenty of action.

To sum it up, if you are not a fan but you want to see cheesy lines, so called romantic scenes, topless dudes, pointless conflicts and a vampire movie without seeing fangs or sucking blood then this is for you.
