WWE star John Cena returns to the big screen for his second movie after his debut on The Marine last 2006. I’m a WWE fan since kid, probably a Cena fan as well due to his hard work and dedication to the company.
Now let’s take a look at his latest film.
Well watching wrestling really influenced me a lot that’s why I decided to see this film and try to see if Cena improved after his debut on the big screen. Sadly, I was not so happy with this film. Yes there’s a lot of explosions and thrill but that’s all. The plot is dead, most scenes were ripoff from the classic action film like Speed and Die Hard. Yes they promote this like ‘from the Producer of Speed’, indeed they were correct because they borrowed it’s elements. The acting was bad by most, but surprisingly I enjoyed the acting of the antagonist. On Cena’s part, I think he improved much better than the first one. Another disappointing part was there’s only 2% fist fight. Big guy, we should have at least see some fist fights. Not just running around and stunts which obviously is a double.
To sum it up, just watch other films on theaters for now and wait for it on DVD. I’d rather watch Cena win the title on the upcoming Wrestlemania 25.
