After Dwayne Johnson‘s successful kids movie The Game Plan, Walt Disney teamed up once again with him. This time it’s a remake of the 1975 film Race to Witch Mountain. Along with the casts are AnnaSophia Robb, Alexander Ludwig and Carla Gugino.

Well the movie is really intended for family viewing and I think it lived up with it’s purpose. It delivers entertainment, nothing more. Of course the plot is predictable, no twist but  it was fun, fast paced race against time. I’m a The Rock fan back in his WWE career and I’ve seen most of his transformation from Sports Entertainment towards his full acting career. I’ve seen much better acting on his previous films than this. The special effects was not so satisfactory, particularly the bullet scene.

Overall, it’s just a typical family movie which will entertain viewers enough. I just hope I would see Mr. Johnson doing an action-comedy film again like his ‘The Rundown‘ and ‘Walking Tall‘ movie.
