When we heard about Final Destination franchise, we all knew the formula. A devastating tragedy will claim lives, a protagonists foreseen the event and save some yet at the end death will still haunt them. Now the franchise continues with the 4th sequel title The Final Destination(replaced 4 with ‘The’, weird).

Will this sequel worthy to be added on the franchise?

The franchise is full of cliches and offers nothing new but what makes out the first 3 films a success was its average acting, gory, unique deaths and signs. On The Final Destination, it was the opposite. IMO this was the weakest among the franchise. We didn’t see it on 3D but maybe it won’t make any difference at all. The acting was very lame, honest. I don’t mind acting on this kind of films but I can’t help but notice. The script was bad and racist. In the race track where the ‘tragedy’ is suppose to happen was very lame as well. C’mon, on the second movie we already got traffic tragedy but it was that damn good. Lastly, the deaths were so obvious to be CGI and exaggerated deaths. What I love about Final Destination franchise was the realistic deaths but on this one audiences are disappointed. Death by a toll truck with chain which hooks up a guy and set him on fire? The truck was running very slow!

Overall, a worst sequel. A direct to DVD type of movie. It was saved by the theater death scene finale and the guy who tried to killed himself.
