We knew this was coming but the only question was when. Whether you love it or hate the second sequel, Transformers franchise makes tons of money so a sequel is surely inevitable.

Straight from Michael Bay’s blog, he confirmed that Transformers 3 will come out on July 1, 2011 and NOT 2012 which was reported before. Any trailers? Just kidding. I though he don’t want to make a sequel yet and will take a year off break, oh well.

Here is a few excerpt from Michael Bay’s blog:
“Well its official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st 2011. Not 2012.

Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I’m flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.”

On the funny part, we all heard about the Michael Bay and Megan Fox little verbal media conflict which Bay doesn’t took seriously. Michael said “P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture.“.

This makes me ROTFL!

So Transformers(and Megan Fox drooling fans), mark your calendar approximately less than 2 years from now and we will see these giant freaking robots and Megan Fox once again.

To Michael Bay, please make the Transformers 3 sequel  a good storyline and more clearer visual on the fighting scenes. That’s all I ask. Hopefully a year from now we will have a sneak peak trailer for Transformers 3.
