I hate to report about this one but this is huge!

It’s April 1 here in the Philippines(March 31 in U.S.) and what a way to start the month especially for 20th Century Fox. Yes it’s April Fools Day today but this ain’t no joke. One of their biggest summer film X-Men Origins: Wolverine has just leaked online. The quality? It’s a clean, perfect copy. Usually WorkPrint got timecode or watermarks but this one don’t have any and almost as close as a DVDrip copy.

Of all the WorkPrint films that leaked online, this has got to be the worst. Exactly 1 month before it will be released and this film is a major one. Well WorkPrint is not the final theatrical release but it will be as close to that.

I just hope this won’t affect its box office performance when it will be released officially in theaters this May 1.

Expect lawsuits for the responsible person/people who leaked the film.

Note: Please note that this is a WorkPrint, meaning obviously they are still twitting some bits here and there. You will see some unfinished work with effects or the scenery. They will be different from scenes from the original movie! Also this release is 14 minutes shorter! Most of all, don’t ask where to download it!

UPDATE:

I watched it last night so here are a quick key points:

• Standard DVDRip Quality, no pixelation.
• No timecode, watermarks.
• Some unfinished CGI especially on the climax. “The Island” where the climax was set is fully rendered 3D BUT NO TEXTURES.
• Some ropes and foams for the stunts were visible which is fun to watch.
• Few marks like what to do or say next but it won’t bother viewers.

Overall, If you’ve seen the WorkPrint you can officially say you’ve seen Wolverine before May 1 BUT  I DEFINITELY WILL WATCH IT AGAIN IN THEATERS WHEN IT ARRIVES.

PLEASE SUPPORT THE FILM AND STILL WATCH IT IN THEATERS. IT’S WORTH IT!
