You Changed My Life
“Bebe ko? Bebe ko? Bebe ko?”
- John Lloyd & Sarah ringtones
I’m not a fan of Filipino films, not a fan of any Filipino stars, showbiz icons, or whatever you call ‘em, nor did I watch the previous Sarah and John Lloyd film (A Very Special Love). I’ll try to squeeze everything in this post coz my boss wants my posts to be short!
This cheesy sequel of their first flick really overwhelmed the crowd the night i watched it. I was able to obtain a copy of the first Richard and KC flick but I tell you…Sarah and John Lloyd are far, far way better looking as couples in this film. Their chemistry’s just the best I’ve seen so far in televisions and movies! If you’ve seen their Maalaala Mo Kaya episode, these guys are really something.
The film showed, well the plot’s been around most of Filipino love stories, but it showed how far can somebody go for the sake of love. I loved what John Lloyd said to his brother…choosing to be a better person. The film is about really knowing what you want in life, what sacrifices you have to give just to grasp what you want to become, and how long can you hold on to something or for this film, someone, you love.
You Changed My Life really did it. It might’ve changed somebody’s lovelife… I wonder if there’s a third movie though I really think there is.
My Rating: 8/10
Recommendation: Bring your partner and watch it in theaters. It’s good to be corny for awhile.

I saw the first one and I have to admit it was a bit top notched than the typical Filipino movies. Hope to see this as well.
BTW, KC CAN’T act so don’t bother with her movie. We were once fooled with ‘For the First Time’, that would be enough for us.
Well yeah…For the First Time will be not worth watching the “second” time LoL
